Review for the Heat Loss / Heat Gain course

Date: November 26, 2024

He was good at answering all students questions and sharing tips and tricks in the software. He was good at reading drawing and quickly calculating the dimensions. I hope we had another optional 2hr follow up sessions lets say a week after the class so student practice on a new homework on their own and review the results with the instructor or questions with the instructor.

I appreciate very quick responses and coordination by few TECA staff that I was in contact with including Tod, Isabel, Kathryn. That stood out when I compare my similar experience with BCIT. Instructor had deep industry experience which is a plus.

Deep knowledge of the instructor about buildings and how it translate into using software. He also gave few tips on how be more efficient such as using Bluebeam or Adobe Pro for drawing analysis. Very thorough, but could be bit slowed-down:-)

Review for the Air to Air Heat Pump Design (Residential) course

Date: November 6, 2024

Personal, GREAT experience with related course, super knowledge, was super easy to message, talk to, get in contact with for questions. Course could have more examples of Start to finish of a HP sizing & Design with a few different details. Start with basic house/system. Then next add a few things like need of Electric supplemental heat, then another one or two with a few other additions. A little more focus information and clear course and this will be an awesome course.
