This publication provides guidelines that will help individuals in the design and installation of hot water heating systems and combination hot water & space heating systems.

These Guidelines are used in conjunction with the TECA Hydronics Systems Design Manual when designing systems. The drawings in these guidelines are approved boiler room and system layouts and are used by many BC authorities having jurisdiction for inspections of hydronic installations.

This Edition is jam packed with over 100+ COLOUR Drawings!!!

The Guidelines were developed using consultation with and information obtained from manufacturers, engineers, contractors, wholesalers, users and others having specialized experience. These Guidelines are subject to revision as further experience and investigation may show such revision necessary or desirable.

This 8th Edition was developed by the TECA Hydronic Technical Committee with Leo Vaillancourt of Watts Canada as Chair and George Faust of Watts Canada, Jurgen Krueger of City of Surrey, Scott Semple of Con-Cur West Marketing, Dal Seymour, and Tony Woo of Allied Boilers.

Changes in this edition include a return to the one drawing per system style to facilitate inspections. As well, references to CSA B-214 have been removed.
