Attention HVAC Technicians: Complete the HRAI Survey and get paid $100

HRAI is inviting heat-pump technicians in British Columbia to complete a skills assessment beginning August 4th. The assessment will help identify training gaps and inform future workforce and training priorities in BC. It is not a pass-or-fail test, and individual results will remain confidential.

Every eligible technician who completes the assessment will receive $100.

Participants will also be entered into four random draws for an additional $250 each.

The attached poster can also be printed and displayed in breakrooms, training areas, service counters, lunchrooms, or other locations where technicians are likely to see it.

We would appreciate your help reaching technicians through two simple actions:

  1. Please print the attached flyer and display it at your contractor counter, break room, training area, or another location where technicians are likely to see it. The assessment begins Aug 04.
  2. Please send the email copy below to contractors on your customer list who install or service heat pumps.
  3. Please take down posters after September 25, 2026
