Countdown to Reserve Your Seat:
Latest TECA hydronic training courses including new Hydronic manual, new Air to
Water Heat Pump course and new Hydronic Heat pump Piping Guidelines.
Summary:
Scott Miller & Todd Backus are pleased to deliver a presentation on the long-awaited revision to TECA’s Hydronic Systems Design course. The revised course covers many new topics and expands on existing subjects for modern approaches for hydronic system design.
New sections include designing for domestic hot water systems, recirculation pump sizing, snow & ice melt, pools & spa loads, and expansion tank sizing. The revised hydronics manual also features new tables, graphs, diagrams, and worksheets to facilitate system design. We will discuss the contents of the new hydronic heat pump training course and piping handbook. Many municipalities will require updated certifications in both hydronic system design and heat pump installation training. We will outline the ideal documentation requirements for the permit submissions and inspection process and how they are different from the current submissions.
We will also discuss prerequisite requirements for all hydronic courses.
